Our beans are ethically sourced from small farms across Central and South America, hand-picked for their flavor profiles and roasted in small batches for maximum freshness.

Whether you're sipping our signature River Ripple Latte or going bold with an Otterly Mocha, every cup is brewed to bring comfort and character. We offer a variety of roasts, dairy and non-dairy milks, and thoughtfully crafted blends that highlight notes of cocoa, honey, citrus, and spice. Always smooth, never bitter.

For the curious coffee explorers, ask us about our rotating single-origin beans and seasonal drink specials. There's always something new bubbling at The Otter Spot.

Our Story

Before it was a café, it was just a cozy kitchen, filled with laughter, the scent of strong espresso, and a deep love for otters.

Our founder grew up along the Willowbrook River, where lazy summers meant watching otters play in the water and chilly winters meant brewing warm drinks for friends by the fire. As the years passed, that little riverside house became a gathering place for book clubs, sketch nights, and spontaneous music sessions over mugs of spiced cocoa.

And so, with a bit of courage and a lot of coffee, The Otter Spot Café was created. A place where the warmth of a living room meets the playful energy of otters. A space for community, creativity, and comfort.

From the signature drinks to the hand drawn otter art on the walls, everything here is made with care because we believe in slowing down, sipping often, and always leaving room for joy.

Every Sunday, 10am - 12pm

Join local artists and doodlers in the café for a casual, creative morning. Free to join. Sketch pads provided!

Open Mic Night

First Friday of the Month, 6:30pm - 9pm

Sip something cozy and share your talents! Whether it’s acoustic tunes, spoken word, or otter-inspired stand-up, everyone’s welcome at our riverside open mic. Performers get a free drink on the house!

Great Otter Brew Off

June 6, 10am - 3pm

Think you know your beans? Compete with fellow coffee lovers to create the best custom latte using our house syrups and secret ingredients. Baristas and guests vote! The winner gets a free drink for a week and their recipe featured for a limited time!
